Welcome!
These photo collages explore the ways nature softens and reclaims the things we leave behind. Rundown cityscapes, agricultural museums, even the serial numbers on a dumpster — life is an ongoing scavenger hunt for rusted paint and evocative textures.
Over the last ten years I have developed a portfolio of source images that allows for endless experimentation in reclaiming the forgotten. I combine and layer my photographs into complex compositions, adding, subtracting, and rearranging until the piece feels right. Simultaneously detailed and imperfect, a bit grungy, these collages strive to evoke the beauty we miss when we are not paying attention.
